Donation Refund Policy
Introduction:
The Peace SV Foundation values every donation and is committed to ensuring the satisfaction of our donors. This policy outlines the circumstances under which the Peace SV Foundation may issue a refund to a donor. This policy is applicable to donations made online, by phone, or by mail.
Conditions for Refund:
The Peace SV Foundation considers refunding donations in circumstances such as:
Donation Error: In cases where a donation was made in error, including but not limited to, typographical errors resulting in an incorrect amount of money donated.
Unauthorized Use of Payment Method: If a donation was made without the consent of the donor, such as in cases of fraud or misuse of credit cards.
Donor’s Misunderstanding: Refunds may be issued if a donor misunderstood the use of the donation or the nature of the organization’s activities.
Other Compelling Reasons: At the discretion of the Peace SV Foundation, refunds may be issued for other compelling reasons on a case-by-case basis.
Process for Requesting a Refund:
To request a refund, donors must send an email to hello@foundationpeace.org.
The request should include detailed information about the donation, including the date, amount, and the reason for requesting a refund.
Proof of donation, such as a receipt or bank statement, may be requested for verification.
Timeframe for Refund Processing:
Once a refund request is received, the Peace SV Foundation will process the request within 90 to 180 days.
The refund will be credited to the original method of payment used for the donation.
Restrictions:
Refunds are not typically issued once the donated funds have been allocated towards a project or program.
Recurring donations are only refundable up to a certain period from the transaction date, as stipulated by the Peace SV Foundation.
Changes to the Refund Policy:
The Peace SV Foundation reserves the right to modify this Donation Refund Policy at any time.
